SRK has positioned itselt as a regional leader in the application of numerical methods for geotechnical design and analysis. This is the result of more than 10 years of practice in several challenging projects throughout Argentina and other Latin American countries. The numerical team also has been involved in projects located in Central and North America, Australia, West Asia and South Africa. One of the key experiences of the last 5 years is the analysis of tailings. SRK uses commercial and advanced material models and in-house development to predict realistic pore pressures under static and cyclic loading conditions and evaluate how these impact the safety and performance of the dams.
