Risks in Mining Course

November 1, 2, 3 and 4 | Lima, Peru

This course will introduce you to the application of techniques in order to assess the financial risk related to grade ore, prices and costs and work them in a cash flow leading to a better decision-taking in different scenarios and deposits. Risk can be approached from two differente perspectives, the first one related to risks from an inaccurate estimation and a second one from costs resulting from an operation which will be the focus of this course. It will also provide you with concepts on discrete simulation and its application using open source code (Datamine RM).

Content:
- Introduction to Datamine tools
- Introduction to conditional simulation
- Risk analysis of prices and costs
- Valuation of risks

Who should attend:
- Resource geologists
- Planning engineers
- Professionals related to the field
Fees:
US$ 850 + IGV
